Om for Life – CT Challenge Yoga Classes for Cancer Survivors
Om for Life™ introduces cancer survivors to the therapeutic benefits of yoga. The CT Challenge is providing a grant to the Yoga Shala for the program, which will run Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. through May 17th. Om for Life™ is a program of the CT Challenge, a non-profit devoted to helping cancer survivors rebuild, improve and prolong their lives through fitness, nutrition, community support and lifestyle programs tailored to their unique needs.
The class is taught by Yoga Shala Instructor Janell, a registered yoga teacher RYT 200 and by Val, a registered yoga teacher E-RYT 500. Both are also certified CT Challenge Om for Life instructors. You do not need to be a member of the Yoga Shala to participate in the Om for Life™ program.
FREE for survivors, their caregivers and families. No advanced registration required.
